Fred knows buildings. His career experience includes managing commercial building operations for the United States Postal Service, as well as  tearing out and replacing floors in southern New Jersey homes. Fred has a solid background in building construction and safety.

Prior to opening Realty Check Home Inspections LLC, Fred was (still is) the third generation owner of Josephsen Hardwood Flooring Company, following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps. Still in business today, Josephsen Hardwood Flooring has been installing and refinishing southern New Jersey floors for over 100 years. Prior to that, Fred was a long time employee of the United States Postal Service, retiring as the Maintenance and Facilities Manager for the Jersey Shore DDC.

Although Realty Check Home, Pool and Termite Inspections is headquartered in Northfield, New Jersey, Fred inspects homes, townhomes and condos, all over South Jersey: Linwood, Northfield, Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ocean City, Lower Township, Middle Township, Seaville, Upper Township, Cape May, Marmora, Cape May Court House, Avalon, Stone Harbor, The Wildwoods, Longport, Margate, Ventnor, Brigantine Beach, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Absecon, Galloway, Hamilton Township, Mays Landing, Atlantic City, Vineland, Bridgeton, New Gretna, Barnegat, Long Beach Island, New Gretna, Tuckerton, etc. Fred inspects homes in Philadelphia, and those surrounding communities, too.

When Fred's not inspecting homes, he enjoys spending time with his family, or hanging out with his furry crew, a Doxle rescue named Isla and two cats named Wink and Hazel Anne.
